Hi! My name is Amy Gulley. I live in Wheaton, Illinois with my wonderful husband Jonathan and two amazing kiddos....Ellie and Ty. Oh, and we also have a dog named Tana. (I have to mention her, because she is kind of my sidekick. She follows me everywhere.)
Jonathan and I, along with a team of five other people, planted a church called "Antioch Community Church: Wheaton" over seven years ago. Today, it is an amazing community of people who love Jesus and want to follow Him together. (You can visit our church website here: acc-w.org )
I love my life! I have the amazing gift of being a "stay at home" mom. My family is my safe place. I'm so thankful I get to live life with them. My joy is making our home into a place of warmth and light where they can flourish and grow. I love creating and bringing God's beauty into everything I see. I want our home to be a place where people sense the presence of God!
I have many passions...but the greatest desire of my heart is to know Jesus and to be simply and purely devoted to Him. He has radically changed my life by what I like to call "The Beautiful Exchange". He took my sin and brokenness and in exchange gave me His life and peace. It is only through Jesus that broken hearts can be healed. He makes all things new! As you read this blog, I hope you will be drawn closer to His heart as I share my heart with you. I hope to get to know you too! It's always so rich hearing stories of other hearts that have been "made new". May you be abundantly blessed today! :)
