A Response of HOPE to the Election

I have a confession to make.  I literally have not entered my blog site for 6 months.  It's been so long I couldn't even remember my password, so I had to change it!  Why am I writing now, you ask?  Well, yesterday was election day.  I have carried this country in my heart deeply for many months.  I have prayed for mercy and that God would pour out His Spirit to heal our land.  My prayer has been that we would elect a president that was pro-life.

That didn't happen...and I feel burdened.

Yet, I am also full of HOPE.  Yesterday morning I was spending time with Jesus.  He said, "I have heard the prayers of My people.  A move of God is imminent in this country."  He also said, "In the wild, a knife is the tool that is most useful.  You will find that in the days ahead, the sword of the Spirit will be of utmost importance."

I'm not sure what will come in these next four years.  But I do know that I am committed to pray for President Obama...to bless him with my words and with my heart.  I refuse to eat the bread of accusation and I will not partner with a "doom and gloom" attitude!  I also know that it is becoming more and more vital to stand up for what we believe.  I want to love what God loves and hate what God hates.

I am praying that Jesus would align His Church with the Living Word of God.  That we, His Body, would be perfectly aligned with our Head, Jesus.  I am praying that He would UNIFY us in His great love and that a move of God's Spirit would sweep across this nation like never before in history!  I believe that the next move of God will literally change the look of the landscape of the country before our very eyes!  I believe that change will flow TO the white house as His Kingdom comes to America just as it is in Heaven!

The Adventure Begins

Hello Blogging World, every good adventure begins with a risk. This blog is my risk. Though I've never done anything like this before, I am excited to connect to your world and to connect you to mine.
